The Drawbacks Of A Shrinking Dome

So, I never really thought I had a big dome until it started to shrink...and the Muppet brought it to my attention when looking at a recent photo.

"Dude, I can't believe how much your dome has shrunk."

"What are you talking about? My dome has always been normal-sized! Daher has the large cranium!"

"Um... No. But it's shrunk! Good job, Dee!"

Then, while on vacation at home in NJ, looking through some pictures, I came across several from a few years back in Boston and damn...I had a big dome. Which has, actually, shrunk considerably.

In the past, while I was UNKNOWINGLY rocking a large dome, I always thought my nose was proportionate. Which it was. WHEN I HAD A BIG DOME. But now that my dome is a mere Shrinky-dink of what it once was (Trust me...I have pictures...which none of you will ever see again), my nose seems to dominate. In fact, I would go so far as to say I HAVE A BIG NOSE.

My nose has always been something of a mystery in my family. My father and brother have perfect, angular, WASPy noses. My mother has a thin-ish roman nose, the type of nose you would expect a woman named Loretta to have. And I, well...you've seen my nose. I don't even know how the hell to describe it. It has a liiiiitle bump, which I actually like, but it's got this rounded tip and I don't know...I usually try and ignore it.

This is getting harder and harder to do.

My cousin, Kelly, looks a lot like me. In fact, when we were kids, we used to tell people we were twins and it was very believable...until I went through a growth spurt and supassed her by like, half a foot in height. She has The Nose, too. And her daughter appears to have inherited it, as well. This makes me feel somewhat better about it.

Anyway. Yeah, my nose. My dome is shrinking, but the nose remains the same. And the cheeks, too. So, I will apparently always have these cheeks and this nose, no matter how small my dome shrinks.
