OK, so my day off is being interrupted by a Nor'easter which threatens to dump 10 inches of powdery white snow beginning at 10 a.m.
I had errands to run! I had a nap to take! I had family to visit and receive compliments on my hair from!
Outrunning a damn blizzard was NOT in the plan for today. So, right now I am going to get dressed, and haul my sore ass off to Wal-Mart for various supplies I'm too cheap to buy in New York. After which I will need to haul my sore ass back to the city so I can run around acquiring supplies like food and booze.
The only problem is, I haven't seen a grocery store in my new hood yet. And really, I'm too sore to run around looking for one. I HAVE scene a liquor store though, so if there really IS a Nor'easter on the way, apparently the only tools at my disposal for survival are beer, liquor, or wine.
Bah! Ok, with only 5 hours of sleep, I will now drink some of mom's special Rocket-fuel/coffee blend, which will hopefully propel me through my errands and onto a Greyhound bus.

I would like to take a moment to point out a rare and therefore, extremely exciting typo in the use of scene as opposed to seen. Other than that, this snow sucked. It turned out to be slush here in SJ. For those on the West Coast, slush is watery ice and snow that usually leads to 4 inch puddles, just enough to get over your shoe and make you say "WHOAAAHHHH".
I'm just interested in knowing why your ass was sore...Do tell...all the details
