Stuff

As I type this, I am doing so with one eye closed. Why, you ask? Well, because my contact grew one of those sharp little thingies on it again, and so I had to take it out at the gym because I could no longer tolerate the feeling on a splinter in my eye. Unfortunately, I now have a headache from all the confused signals my eyeballs have been sending to my brain.

Tomorrow I am heading to New Jersey, where I will have my hair cut and colored. Admittedly, I have been walking around with a couple inches of what the ladies call "roots." I've been trying to slow down coloring my hair, since I don't want to do anything further to it that might make it fall out. This is a shame, because I love coloring my hair and Kristie, my brother's girlfriend and hair stylist extraordinaire, always does such a great job. She literally had to talk me into this next round with the gentle tones one might reserve for a screaming baby, which, let's face it, I pretty much am. Anyway! We'll be closer to my original color.

Then, Wednesday morning, I will wake up at the asscrack of dawn and BabySteve will pick me and my younger brother Eric's girlfriend Sam up at my mom's house. We will then drive 700 miles to South Carolina to watch that little punk graduate from the Marines. Holy. SHIT. Should be fun...maybe not as fun as being flown to Vegas and put up at The Palms, but not all of us are recording engineers who get to roll like pimps and call it WORK.
