Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

As I write this, I am hungover and eating oatmeal at my desk. I have a pile of work that is taking over my desk and I have $6 until tomorrow, but that’s all right. And do you know why?

BECAUSE THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!

Know what else? I moved. And I have awesome roommates. And one of them has a new special friend who actually seems to realize what a fucking catch she is.

Also? My friends Kris and Gayle are starting a new life in Chicago with their baby girl and everything is going according to plan. Additionally, Meghan seems to be handling their departure well.

My mom is doing great, rocking her new job and not stressing over money. My little brother got his driver’s license. My older brother is fine, as usual.

Kelly is settling into her new job, as is Spesh, and they are totally in love.

Vic and Laura got a puppy and she’s so freaking cute. Her name’s Bailey.

The triplets are thriving!

Shawn is taking HUGE steps toward becoming the person he’s always been meant to be. I know it’s hard, buddy. I hope you know I’m here, always, always.

Dad’s good. Everyone's pretty good, actually.

Learned a few reeeeeeally hard lessons this year. Recently, some of the hardest. Things I thought were certain are not, and things I thought were not certain are, which is comforting.

The good comes bundles with the bad, a good friend once told me. But right now it’s more good than bad. I’m blessed in more ways than I thought, and I am truly grateful for what I have been through in the past 12 months, even though it was the hardest 12 months of my life ever! I’m sure it’ll be harder, but I can sit here and tell you, despite the hangover, that I’ll survive it. With a little help from my family and friends, some good music, AND CURT SCHILLING!!!

It's good that the red sux won so now we don't have to listen to all of the whining and bitching that genreally comes from the red sux nation. Now you're just another team among the rest that lives to beat the Yankees. Congrats on the win as it wasn't an easy 86 year journey.

Schilling, as much as I hate him, is 100% inspiration and guts. Hats off to him!

Schilling introduced W. at a Repub. vote-for-me rally in Pittsburgh today. And there I was feeling bad for him and his old bloody sock.
