It Has Just Occurred To Me That I Might Be Terrifyingly Boring

I feel like writing today but am unfortunate in that I really don't have too much to write about!

Previously, I was reading gossip websites, Fortune Magazine and sipping green tea. I thought, "I want to write. What should I write?"

Should I write about my commute? It was pretty uneventful. The only thing remarkable about it was that I rode the whole way with my sunroof open and in a sleeveless shirt.

Should I write about work? My boss is out of town and not too much is going on. Next week we move to the former House of Blues offices at Sunset and Argyle. I can't wait. My cubicle is painted interesting colors, but that's pretty much the only point of interest regarding that.

Should I write about my family? My mother is moving here in the summer. I am simultaneously hopeful and terrified. My siblings are all engaged with the exception of Eric. One is getting married in May, the other in June. BabySteve gets married in February '08. I am planning the Bridal Shower for my sister, Cindy, the one getting married in June. I like planning things. I'm having fun with it. I'll probably buy my first ticket to the east coast this week.

I have three weddings to attend in 4 weeks. All on the east coast. I will be poor until the end of the summer, most likely.

Should I write about the fact that I only drink one coffee a day now? That kind of feels like a beating a dead horse, actually.

Should I write about my car and how it needs breaks? Yes, I've had Doris for a mere 7 months and already she needs a new set of breaks. Welcome to L.A. traffic. In my defense, they were approaching replacement pretty much when I bought the damn thing.

Should I tell you how, a few months ago, a woman almost killed me in an intersection by cutting me off and making a left-hand turn, leaving me smack in the middle of the intersection when the light changed to red, captured for all eternity by the traffic camera stationed on the corner, which I discovered when I received the moving violation in the mail, with a picture of me clear as day, ready to die in that moment, which requires that I post $361 bail in order to plead Not Guilty? I swear, I will forever hate that woman in the Silver SUV.

Should I tell you how, in the process of trying to clean up my credit, I managed to consolidate my student loans down to a payment more than $200 less than I was previously paying? Yay! On the other side of that coin, however, I'm being bullied by a collection agency for an old credit card and it's giving me gray hairs! Fuckers.

Speaking of hair, I just got mine trimmed. She did a good job keeping the cut previously given to me by Kristie, which is my favorite cut ever, alive and bouncy. I plan on cutting my hair off after all the weddings, though.

Kimberly and Kelly are coming to visit at the end of this month and I am very excited. We haven't rocked out since Kelly's wedding in October.

Kimberly is in luuuuuuurv. And an Aunt, again!

I guess no news is good news. And a lot of you read this blog to keep up with what I'm doing, so information like this may be desired. It's kind of nice to be boring, but these days I'm feeling like there's some potential out there that I need to harness and turn into something, whether it's a creative effort or just a better understanding of myself and what I want out of life.

Oh, Spring, a time of year rife with possibilities and randiness.
