I MUST Be Crazy

I just took a walk outside in weather that "feels like" 20. I did notice that it felt downright balmy compared to the 6,7, and 9 degree days we had last week. What started out as a search for food (there is nowhere and I mean NOWHERE on Wall Street or the surrounding areas after dark or on the weekends to eat) ended up turning into a walk that took me past the WTC site and right down to the water where I could see New Jersey and the Statue of Liberty. Helped to clear my head a little bit.

Also? I froze my ass off. But I went down there for that specific reason. I wanted to see the water and I wanted to feel the cold. I wanted to be so cold it hurt. And then my ears started to sting. After I sat there for 25 minutes alternately listening to some music and then the water, I continued my search for food, but since I'm not too familiar with the area down here, I ended up just walking aimlessly. The fresh air and exercise did me good. And so did the McDonald's once I got to it. Heh heh heh.

The KING SIZE Snickers that I killed in 2 seconds flat on Thursday night is now replaced and waiting for John and I am about to start packing my stuff. The chaise calls to me as does Extreme Makeover: HOME EDITION, but I must finish tidying up. And if you don't cry at some point during EM:HE, then you are DEAD inside. No, really. You might just want to cut yourself to see if you bleed. Does the sun hurt your eyes? Do you find garlic offensive? What are your thoughts on silver bullets and/or Holy water?

I just knew that somehow I wasn't dead inside! Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is awesome! The chick designers are super hot! I've been known to shed a tear when you can almost see down one of their shirts...but then the camera pulls away...psyche! Oh, the cruelty of it all...makes me want to cry now...and bury my head in their lovely pillows...

    Rock ON!
