It's beginning to look a lot like Consumermas!
I have lots to say, but luckily for you all, I sent all of it in an email to the MFDC, so you're all spared a big, greasy vat of Nothingtude.
I got two birthday cards yesterday, so I'm mentally gearing up to be thrilled about turning 29! I feel so much more mature as I approach 29 than I did approaching 28. When I was approaching 28, I never would have confronted two McDonald's employees who were acting like idiots on their break last night. Nope. But as a woman approaching 29? I had no problem doing that.
It occurred to me last night that I am in much the same state of anticipation as I was this time last year...OF AN iPOD.
It didn't come yesterday. It was SPOSED to, but got held up by "weather" in "Ohio." And then they shipped it to the wrong facility in New York. WTF Is Apple thinking? Why DHL? Why Yellow? Why not UPS? WHY NOT BROWN?
Speaking of WTFs, I had one to write for yesterday and had such a fucktastically shitacular day that I couldn't get it done. Look for it next week!
Ok, the whole purpose of this post was to redirect you to this one. I have never before read an essay that so vividly captures the spirit of Christmas. I've been reading it all week. Enjoy it, you ho ho ho's!!!
