You know, it's funny this popped up, because I had watched a Kevin Smith clip last week and then just read a recent article in Wired Magazine that was accompanied by a pic and I thought, "Kevin Smith really does remind me of Dan." Excepting the morbid obesity, of course!
Kevin Smith and MFDC have very similar speaking styles, the same dry sense of humor, and a very laid back, approachable presence.
I met Kevin Smith a long time ago when I was a sophomore in college. He came to speak to us about making movies and shit. Which means that I can say with authority: the magnificence of MFDC's beard trumps the congregation of unruly whiskers of Kevin Smith's face, HANDS EFFIN DOWN!!!!
