I figured I would write a post since not all of you find pictures of MFDC as endlessly endearing as I do, although I can't imagine why not.
So, here I am, in the home stretch. Work is busier than ever, the weather is hotter than it has been all year, and I'm not sure my heart could pound any faster or harder on Sunday nights when I'm trying to fall asleep than it did last night.
I thought, when you gave a job your notice, that your workload lessened. I don't know what ever gave me that impression! But it's fine. It makes the days go fast. A new girl is starting tomorrow, so on top of my stack of meetings, I'll be training her. Good times!
As for the heat, it's very timely. The last time I was in L.A., I was rudely reminded of how freaking hot that place gets. I sweated the whole time. I can't even believe MFDC let me sit on his leather seats, but he did... probably just for the pleasure of watching my reaction when the BLACK LEATHER SEAT BURNED MY ASS. And it really did! Seriously. It was a little sore after that.
Anyway, this coming heatwave, which I understand to be remnants of the one recently responsible for over 100 deaths in California, will serve well to acclimate me. I need to get used to sweating more frequently, as well as the explosion that happens on top of my head when it encounters heat and dampness. I don't think MFDC is ready for this level of the REAL Danielle, y'all.
Of course, as with any anticipated change of venue in my life, I have already begun to plan my menu. There will be In & Out Burger, and Doughboy's Red Velvet Cake, and... I really can't think of anything beyond those two delicacies, but suffice to say there will also be many visits to the gym!
I sent out boxes from my desk today and cleaned out the rest of the stuff that needed to be cleaned out and sorted through this weekend. I'm ready to go. I'm at peace with my panic attacks. I'm OK with the pace of the big hand and the little hand. As much as I want to be there NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW, I still need a few minutes to catch my breath long enough to put the right foot forward, tell my mom I love her, and let the triplets crawl all over me while they're still small enough to cause the least amount of physical injury before I go.

What kind of uncouth DILDO doesn't find MFDC pictures endlessly endearing?
