Seven Hours A Week, Huh?

I read somewhere on the internet that you can't consider yourself a writer unless you spend at least seven hours a week writing. Since it was on the web, it must be true. I find myself trying to justify the fact that I spend MAYBE 45 minutes a week writing and yet still list "writing" as a hobby when I find myself in situations that require hobby listings. It's usually smooshed in between "eating" and "having sex on Sunday mornings."

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm WAY out of any blogging reserve I may have banked in the days when I wrote more than once a day, so I guess I can't really say I'm a writer. Which kind of makes me sad. Which is actually a GOOD thing, because being made to realize that I can't call myself a writer yet had born in me the desire to actually be one.

So, I'm going to try and write more. I just hope it gets from my brain to a page somewhere.

Some of you may know this, but recently my car, MY DORIS, was damaged by the dildos who valet park the cars in the morning when the garage becomes too full. I took pictures, I reported it, and today I finally got the claim form. I was also informed that "Danny," one of the parkers, saw me "hurt my car."

I lost my mind on that poor woman and would have redirected my wrath to Danny had the little bastard been anywhere in my sights! She finally backed down and said maybe he was "confused" because there are "so many claims" right now. YEAH! BECAUSE YOU SUCK.

Anyway, I'm beginning to despair that I will not be paid for the damages to my car. I plan on getting it fixed myself, but I won't know when I'll be able to afford it. Doris deserves the best, so I have to get her fixed and fixed up good!

To console myself, I ate some tuna, cucumbers, hummus and low fat cheddar cheese because there wasn't a monster cupcake at my immediate disposal.

In other news, I'm sad that Hasbro has to recall so many EasyBake Ovens and deprive an entire generation of girls the pleasure of eating really hot, raw, just-add-water "dough" out of cheap round tins. Man, I miss those days. I still want an Easy Bake Oven even though the oven I DO use is super sweet.
