Version 2.0 - Now with Titles!

Don't mistake this change for any recent edification on my part. Somebody put all this together and all I have to do is click on it. Your lucky I've stayed away for a few days, because I have been filled to bursting with much political veracity, for which the only outlet (for me, anyway) is either discussing it with Kelly, or writing about it. And since Kelly and I have very similar political views, it's more fun to write about it. However, I recognize that the few of you who read this page come here for a 5 minute escape spiked with moments of self-deprecating humor and rambling stories.

That said, you can expect more political stuff. It just helps me work it all out in my head. And what better time to exercise my first amendment rights than during an election year? And in a bold move (bolder than the one in which I just started two sentences in a row with "and"), I have left the comments "on," so if you disagree with me, or would like to add your own two cents, please do!

I think the worst things I have heard so far in discussing this year's election with the people around me is "What does Kerry stand for?" and "I haven't been following it. I'll wait until the debates."

If you don't know what John Kerry stands for, don't - FOR ALL OUR SAKES - wait for the MEDIA to inform you. There's so much information out there for you to peruse and review when forming your opinions.

Waiting for the debates is like saying you'll choose your spouse after viewing their picture online. There is so much about both candidates, Bush and Kerry, that you will not get from the debates. The same goes for Edwards and Cheney. If you believe media spin, Cheney has horns and Edwards is still in diapers. But it's up to YOU to decide whether Cheney has too much influence and whether Edwards is a qualified running mate.

I feel the details reveal more than the picture as a whole. Just try to educate yourselves, that's all I'm saying. Don't pull that lever seeing only headlines in your head. Know the issues and vote accordingly.

That is all!
