This weekend my Mom and my best good girlfriends Meghan and Courtney threw a surprise engagement party for Dan and me. While I wait for their thoughtful yet slow asses to hand over pictures of the event (which will no doubt most prominently feature our individual "WTF?!" faces), I will share with you the poster my mom made with much love for Dan and me.

Dudes, I changed my blog template and moved all my customizations over just so you could see this in as much detail as possible and bask in the love which pours forth from that giant picture of Dan and me, taken around Thanksgiving of last year.

The previous template would only allow for smaller pictures, but I'm thinking that we're heading into major picture-sharing territory, what with my upcoming nuptials, my WAY overdue blog about the BabySteve's wedding day, and the impending arrival of J4: The Firstborn Mupplette, all of which requires more space for your voyeurism and my exhibitionism.

You might be thinking, "The Harbor template? Really, Deebo?" My reply is fewfold: 1.) BIGGER PICTURES 2.) I'm getting married on an island that has a lighthouse, I think! 3.) This template actually contains my wedding colors, which also seems appropriate 4.) I really like the song "Harbor" by Vienna Teng 5.) I'm an ambi-blogger, and possess the rare ability to blog left-sided or right-sided and 6.) When I was in elementary school, I would get sick of where my desk was seated and tell my teacher I couldn't see just so she would give me a new spot and I could burn some class time cleaning out my desk, moving it and reorganizing it. I suspect there's a little of that going on here!
