You can't see these things despite the excellent quality of my camera on my NEW CELL PHONE, but there are flames licking up on the left and many, many helicopters swarming over the area. The fire seems to have forked off in two directions, and the Observatory remains intact. Visiting the Observatory is now one of the many fun things MFDC and I will do during my long July 4th break between weddings, parental visits and the Imminent Arrival of My Mother, who is relocating to Southern California in a couple months.

Oh now I am pissed! Breaking news on Channel 5 is that the animals are scared at the zoo. I love animals more than most people and also the breaking news was right 15 minutes into Gilmore Girls!!! Hello - Logan is going to ask Rory to marry him and I have been invested in this for like 6 years! AND there are only like 3 episodes left. WTF? Rory is graduationg from Yale tonight. And now I cannot attend her graduation. I will kick some arsonist ass! I hope his ass is burned too. Hmph.
