Bouncey Bouncey

I feel like a friggin' pinball these days. As soon as I hit one target, I have to shoot off and hit another one. I have to be a pinball in perpetual motion, otherwise I'll slip through those little arm thingies and lose.

A LOT is going on, as you can imagine. Work is busier than it has ever been and in the meantime, we're trying to finalize all the little details of our upcoming nuptials. I seem to think I have more time than I actually have as far as that's concerned! My mind is one long string of I Have To's. On top of all that, I feel like being so preoccupied has actually made me more stupid in many areas.

So many nouns in my sentences have been replaced with some variation of the word "thing." And verbs have been replaced by hand gestures. And, when all else fails, I default to a blank stare, quickly followed by, "I'm sorry, what?"

But time is marching on. Actually, I think time is marching on in double-time right about now! On one hand, I'm all, "Yay! We're getting married soon!" And on the other, I'm all, "HOLY SHIT, THERE IS STILL SO MUCH TO DO."

Which reminds me, I have shit I need to go do.
