St. PaDee's Day

Tomorrow, as you well know, is St. Patrick's Day here in New York City. It's a crazy day. If you call anybody in NYC tomorrow at any given point, it's likely they will be drunk when you talk to them. Conversely, if you know anybody who lives in NYC (namely me), expect a drunk dial at some point (since I'm completely known for it).

Hopefully, if you DO hear from me tomorrow, I will have already made out with or will be about to make out with someone associated with the FDNY. Heh heh heh.

Ah, St. Patrick's Day
Greatly improves my chances
For good Irish love!

Slainte!

Oh, me name is MacNamara- I'm the leader of a band.
Although we're few in numbers, we're the finest in the land.
We play at wakes and weddings and every fancy ball,
And when we play at funerals, we play the march from Saul.

Right now, we are rehearsing for a very swell affair-
The annual celebration, all the gentry will be there.
When Gen. Grant of Ireland came, he took me by the hand,
Says he, " I never saw the likes of MacNamara's Band.

Oh, the drums go bang and the cymbals clang and the horns they blaze away
McCarthy pumps the old bazoon, while the pipes do play
.Hennessey Tennessey tooddles the flute and the music is something grand
A credit to old Ireland is MacNamara's Band.

Oh, I wear a bunch of shamrocks and a uniform of green
And I'm the funniest looking Swede that you have ever seen.
There's O'Briens, Ryans, Sheehans and Meehans
All come from Ireland but ,by yimminy, I'm the only Swede in MacNamara's band

I'm really confused, but I really like your St. Padee haiku. Green beer + nookie = good times!
